Note: Albert William Rought was born WHITTA but his grandfather, who had a furrier's business, left it to Albert on condition that he was always to be known as Rought, not Whitta. Hence he changed his name to Albert William ROUGHT-ROUGHT, and it was as this that he married Mary WOOD.
The factory continued until 1967 when the business had declined owing to myxamatosis killing the rabbots
