Will of John Crickmore of Watford
proved in the Prerogative Court of
Canterbury

I John Crickmore of the parish of Watford in the county of Hertfordshire,
widower being of sound and disposing mind memory and understanding to make this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following that is to say
First my desire is to be decently buried at the discretion of my executor
hereinafter named, and my just debts and Funeral expences shall be paid and
after my said debts and Funeral expences shall be fully paid and satisfied
all the Rest and Residue of my Estate and Effects Goods Plate (?)Jewels,
Bonds (?) debts due to me and all other properties whatsoever and
wheresoever found to me appertaining, I give devise and bequeath to my son
John Crickmore of the said Parish of Watford Victualler whom I hereby
constitute and appoint the whole and said Executor of this my last Will and
Testament and I do hereby utterly revoke disallow and dis? All former
Bequests, Wills and Legacies by me heretofore in any wise left or made declaring ratifying and confirming this and no other to be my last Will and
Testament in Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal with
fifteenth day of March one thousand seven hundred and seventy seven, John
Crickmore.
Signed sealed published and declared by the within named Testator John
Crickmore as and for his last Will and Testament in his presence and at his
request and in the presence of each other Charles Child, James ?Hackman.
This Will was proved at London the thirteenth day of January in the year of
our Lord one thousand seven hundred and eighty before the worshipful Andrew
? ? Doctor of Laws Surrogate of the Right Worshipful ?Foster ?Calvert Doctor
of Laws ?? of ?? of the Prerogative Court of Canterbury lawfully constituted
by the oath of John Crickmore the son of the deceased and sole Executor
named in the said will to ?? administration of all and singular the Goods
Chattels and ?? of the said deceased and granted having been that sworn duly
to Administer.
