Note: Henry did not marry. The family knew little of him, but Amelia MARTIN received money said to be from the gold fields in Australia. One payment at least was $600 and allowed Amelia to travel back to England in 1900 or 1901, and to travel in Canada. Henry was an Able Seaman on the "Daphne" of Sunderland (William Claproth, master, burthen of 707 tons, London to Sydney, arriving 17 Jan 1859. (The passengers were government immigrants - 118 males, 139 adult males, 39 male children and 34 female children)
