WILL OF Ann GRIGSON nee BUTCHER

I devise to my grandson Walter Andrew Bruce all that piece of land situate in the County of Waimate containing Forty acres being Rural Sections ten thousand seven hundred and eighty and nine thousand two hundred and eighty three Waimate Survey District.
I devise to my grandaughters Mary Butcher Bruce and Annie Bruce as tenants in common in equal shares all that parcel of land situated in the Borough of Waimate containing twenty eight perches or thereabouts being the parts owned by me of Lots one and forty four on Deposited Plan Number nine hndred and twenty two
And I give
devise and bequeath to my said grandaughters all the residue and remainder of my property, real
and personal whatsoever and wheresoever subject to payment thereout of my debts and funeral and
testamentary expenses
And I appoint my said grandaughters to be Executors of this my Will In
Witness whereof I the said Ann Grigson have hereunto set my hand this twelfth day of May one
thousand nine hundred and nine
Signed by the Testator by making her mark (the above having been read out to her and explained to her when she appeared perfectly to understand the same) as and for her last Will and Testament in the presence of us both present at the same time who at her request in her sight and presence and in the sight and presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses
